Jade Albasini est artiste chorégraphique, prof de yoga et journaliste en Suisse.
Ses premières créations pluridisciplinaires et collaboratives sont programmées respectivement au festival Les Quarts d’Heure de Sévelin en 2018 et aux Chorégraphiques#6 en 2021. En 2017, elle rejoint le Choreolab de Reso – Réseau Danse Suisse, sous la direction de Ioannis Mandafounis. En 2019, elle est lauréate d’une bourse de recherche artistique à Berlin, octroyée par le Canton du Valais. En 2022, elle assiste Rafaele Giovanola dans le projet de CocoonDance pour Steps, festival national de danse contemporaine. Soutenue par Pro Helvetia, elle est sélectionnée en 2024 pour le programme chorégraphique ATLAS à ImPulsTanz —Vienna International Dance Festival. Elle travaille aujourd’hui sur le dispositif féministe, Hysteria Room avec Mélanie Cerezo Gobet.
Comme danseuse-interprète, elle a collaboré avec des artistes nationaux et internationaux (voir ci-dessous)
Formée en yoga dans la tradition Hatha｜Vinyasa à Sri Yoga Shala au Sri Lanka, suivant les enseignements d’Eva Priyanka Wegener et Serena Burgess, Jade développe en 2025/2026 sa pratique en Tantra, Somatics & Embodiment à Samavesa School of Yoga.
Jade Albasini is a choreographic artist, yoga teacher and journalist in Switzerland.
Her first multidisciplinary and collaborative creations were respectively programmed in the festivals Les Quarts d’Heure de Sévelin in 2018 and in Les Chorégraphiques#6 in 2021. In 2019, she was awarded an artistic research grant in Berlin, granted by the Canton of Valais. Supported by Pro Helvetia, she was selected in 2024 for the ATLAS choreographic program at ImPulsTanz — Vienna International Dance Festival. She is currently working on the feminist installation, Hysteria Room, with Mélanie Cerezo Gobet.
